Peanut Butter Protein Balls
Looking for an on the go snack? These energy balls are so simple to make. They are great for a before your workout, road trip, picnic, a party you name it! My kids love these as well. There are several ways you can make these protein balls. I want to make these as healthy as I can and without preservatives and other unwanted food additives. Mix all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Roll into 1 inch balls. Press down on a plate or cookie sheet until slightly flattened. Press a large, dark chocolate chip into the middle of each cookie. Refrigerate or keep at room temperature

Spicy Roasted Almonds
Spicy roasted almonds are another fabulous travel or on the go snack. They are super simple to make. The recipe below is just a guideline makes these your own try different spices.Print
These delicious almonds make a handy grab-n-go snack any time of day!
1 cup Almonds
1 1/2 tsp Avocado Oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt (to taste)
Preheat oven to 325 F.
Stir all ingredients together in a bowl until the almonds are well coated. Spread the nuts out over a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until golden brown. Stir halfway through the baking time.
Note: Keep an eye on these in the last 5 minutes of baking as they can go from baked to burnt pretty quickly.
