What you will need for this recipe you may already have in your kitchen! =)

DIY Dishwasher Tabs

  • In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients together. Set aside.
  • In another bowl mix wet ingredients together. The slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry mix. Mix together until it is like play snow and can be molded together.

NOTE: I have found they are a little to large to place into the detergent holder. Fear not just place one or two at the bottom of the dishwasher!

These DIY Dishwasher Tabs are so cute and easy to make! You can also make a liquid version of this recipe if you would prefer but for today I am making the tabs.

What you will need for this recipe you may already have in your kitchen! =)

DIY Dishwasher Tabs

1 32oz Mason Jar

1 cup Washing Soda

1 cup Baking Soda

1 cup Coarse Salt

1/4 cup Hydrogen Peroxide

1 TBSP doTERRA OnGuard Concentrate or Dr Bronner’s Baby Unscented Castile Soap

20 Drops Your Fav Essential Oils ( I suggest Lemon, Wild Orange, Purify, Lemongrass, Citrus Bliss, Grapefruit)


Instructions

In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients together. Set aside.

In another bowl mix wet ingredients together. The slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry mix. Mix together until it is like play snow and can be molded together.

Take a 1-2 TBSP pack the mixer tightly into the spoon. Place onto a Silicone Baking Mat

Let air dry for at least 24 hours to help them set up. Place in Mason Jars or airtight glass container.

 



Notes

 I have found they are a little too large to place into the detergent holder. Fear not just place one or two at the bottom of the dishwasher!
